Not only fireworks: London New Year's Day Parade 2023 in 75 photos

Every year* since 1987, on the 1st of January, London's New Year's Day Parade takes place.

*there was a break in this tradition during the Covid-19 pandemic

Hundreds of thousands of people line the streets to watch the colorful (and loud!) spectacle.

The event usually begins midday on the 1st of January, takes around 3 hours, and is free (although you can buy tickets for the special stands to secure the best view of the show).

It is a perfect way to start new year!

Below you will find a gallery of 75 photos from London's New Year's Day Parade 2023.
